Personal Statement
My collegiate goals and aspirations include playing baseball while earning a degree in an occupation that is related to sports. I work hard in school and I'm proud of my accomplishment in maintaining a high GPA.
As long as I can remember, I have always wanted to be playing baseball. I have been playing since I was 5. Growing up with baseball took me from recreational baseball to the more serious travel ball. At that level is where I really knew that I wanted to play baseball in college and maybe one day play for the MLB.
Outside of school and off the field, I enjoy volunteering at my elementary school helping teachers prepare their classrooms at the beginning of the year. As well, I volunteer at my church. I love helping the younger children enjoy all activities that take place during our annual Kids Camp.
I would be a good candidate for your team because I am dedicated to baseball. I also am a hard worker and have the love for the game. I'm willing to do whatever it takes to improve upon my skills. I have a strong work ethic and I'm a team player. Whether winning or losing I support my teammates and encourage them to always do their best and work hard.
