March 2015Personal Statement
I am a 5'11 Catcher from Melbourne, FL in the 2017 graduating class. I have been playing from roughly six years old, and started AAU/USSSA travel teams when I was 12. This past fall I was invited to and attended the Team USA tryouts in Cary, North Carolina. I currently attend and play for Melbourne High School. I played JV my Freshman year, and was called up to Varsity
towards the end of the season (23-4/7A).
I would like to go to a larger school such as a state university, but I am open to anything this early in my recruiting process. I would prefer to stay in a warmer climate in the Southeastern Region, but I am certainly not scared of a little cold if the schooling situation is the fit right. I would like to go to a school where I can impact the team in a positive way early in my career there. I am looking to major in business but that could change in the next few years.

- Coaches Reference: Trevor Tolley My experiences with Trevor have been great. As a catcher he displays multiple qualities that many college coaches look for. He is vocal on the field, and knows how to control the pace of the game. He blocks the ball very well, and has a good idea of how to call pitches. He always develops a great relationship with the pitchers, and they in turn are very comfortable throwing to him. At the plate, Trevor is a tough out with a good ability to put the ball in play and extend at-bats. He also has displayed above average plate discipline, and is not afraid of hitting with two strikes. One of the best things about Trevor is his attitude. He is always upbeat and constantly cheers his teammates on. He’s the guy that gets to practice early and leaves late. He has a knack for absorbing information and is always working to improve his skills. He’s a great kid with a great passion for the game of baseball.
