Baseball has influenced so much of my life and has taught me not only things about myself but things about life and adversity. It truly has shaped me and showed me that you have to work hard at everything in order to succeed. Whether it be in baseball, school, or just life in general. It's taught me that you have to over come adversity in so many situations, that whether your down by 20, or down by 1, you have to play with heart on every play, or the game will pass you by.
As for college, I just want to find a school that likes me just as much I like them. I want to go somewhere I enjoy, and love to be at. I just want to go to a place where I can learn and grow as a student and a player. At the end of the day, all I want to do is play baseball, it's all I ever have wanted to do. It is what I've done my whole life. Baseball is what is most important to me. It's my passion. In my opinion, baseball is meant for you to have fun. If your not having fun with it, then what's the point. Now, granted there are times where you need to be serious in certain situations. But ultimately, it's meant to be played the right way and have fun with it.
I bring certain skills to a team. I've never been the biggest or strongest, but I play pesky, and use what i'm good at to win. I'm not the fastest either, but I steal way more bases than my speed would be predicted to steal. I have a very unique skill set in the mental aspect of the game. And I think that is what sets me apart. I use my smarts to my advantage and capitalize on mistakes. And I think i'm most confident in my glove and fielding, it's been the strongest aspect of my game since I can remember. And this is what I believe I bring to a team.
