2022 Highlights Personal Statement
First and foremost I am a student athlete that values God and family. I understand that I am blessed with academic and athletic ability and the opportunity to play the game I love is a privilege. I completely understand that "hard work beats talent, when talent doesn't work hard", so I do my best to excel in the classroom as well as on the diamond. I know one day baseball will end and my education will prepare me for the future.
Therefore, while pursuing my academic career, my goal as a baseball player is to continue to play the game at the highest level possible. Ever since I can remember baseball has been my passion, in fact my very first word was ball. Everyday I try to improve my game by working in the gym or in the cage or on the field. I pride myself on being a great teammate and I enjoy the responsibility of representing my school as a student-athlete.
I look forward to bringing these same values, the same passion for the game and the same work ethic to your university.
