Personal Statement
Playing baseball at the next level and being able to get an education as a college athlete has always been a dream of mine. I have played multiple sports in my life, but baseball is my passion. I love the history and tradition of the game as well as the competitive aspect. I have always believed that sports give you discipline and develop character through adversity. Not being physically gifted motivated me to push myself in order to develop into a complete player. As a player; I have a great attitude, put in 100% effort, and hold my my teammates accountable to make us stronger and better. I appreciate the value of teamwork, commitment, and embrace leadership; I was named Team Captain of the varsity baseball team as a sophomore and additionally have served as President of my junior and now senior academic class.
I'm currently working very hard to get stronger and faster, but also preparing myself to grow academically and spiritually (by glorifying God with my actions). I am looking forward to meeting coaches from many colleges during this year who will help get me closer to fulfilling my dream of becoming a college athlete.
