• Jack Witmer Hits And Pitches BigStix Gamers 2020 To 7-4 Victory BigStix Gamers 2020 beat HITS Elite 15U 7-4 Sunday behind both the bat and the arm of Jack Witmer. Witmer had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. He homered in the fifth inning and doubled in the sixth inning. Witmer pitched lights out for BigStix Gamers 2020. HITS Elite 15U managed just one hit off of Witmer, who allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out three during his 1 2/3 innings of work. The game was back-and-forth heading into the fifth, with four lead changes. BigStix Gamers 2020 finally managed to grab the lead after a strong fifth inning. A two-run error scored Bryce Ballard and Cole McWhorter and gave BigStix Gamers 2020 the lead for good. A bright spot for HITS Elite 15U in the defeat was Logan Morris, who allowed only one run while striking out five. Hogan Whitt racked up three RBIs on one hit for HITS Elite 15U. He tripled in the fourth inning. Joey Pourron got the win in relief for BigStix Gamers 2020. Pourron pitched 2 1/3 innings and allowed three runs. BigStix Gamers 2020 was sparked by McWhorter and Witmer, who teamed up for four hits and two RBIs. Cole Stiles ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with the loss. He lasted just 1 1/3 innings, walked two, struck out two, and allowed four runs. The top of the second saw BigStix Gamers 2020 take an early lead, 1-0. The fifth spelled defeat for HITS Elite 15U, as BigStix Gamers 2020 grabbed the lead for good. More runners rounded the bases on an RBI double by McWhorter and a solo home run by Witmer. BigStix Gamers 2020 increased its lead with two runs in the sixth. A single by Ballard ignited the offense,, bringing home Caleb Coffey. That was followed up with a steal of home by Witmer.
