Bryce O'Brien '16 Recruiting Profile

     My name is Bryce O'Brien. I am a Senior (2016) at Etowah High School in Woodstock, GA. I play middle infield, catch, RHP and switch hit. I am 6', 185 pounds and run a 6.8 60-yd dash. I have led each of my past teams since 11u in batting average and fielding percentage (while placing in the top 3 in RBI's and HR's each year). My most prized accomplishment of my brief career so far is my 15u All-Defense Team at East Cobb in Marietta, GA. I just received a Gold Glove at the CABA WS in Euclid, OH.  I was also in the top 3 in batting average out of 13 teams (.456). My goal has always been to play college baseball for a university with prestige. I would like to stay in the Southeast, around Georgia but if any situation arises where I am able to play out of the region I would love to take the opportunity. I love the game of baseball and always have since I started playing. With my love for the game, coaches will also be recruiting a well-rounded kid on and off the field, who is academically sharp (3.3 GPA, 28 ACT) and hard working. I am not afraid to go through the thick and thin to get done what needs to be done because I know that the easy way out is often times not the best way.
