Personal Statement
I started playing baseball when I was 6 years old. I have loved the game ever since. As Babe Ruth once said, “Baseball is the greatest game in the world and deserves the best you can give it.” I give it everything I got every time I am on the field.
I am a rising senior at Alexander High School in Douglasville, Georgia. As a freshman and sophomore, I started on the varsity team at Heirway Christian Academy. During my junior I was a pitcher for the Alexander High School varsity team. I am a 6’01”, 165 LB left handed pitcher. I throw a 2 and 4 seam fastball, circle change, slider and knuckle curveball. I have been used as a starting pitcher and closer for the last three years. I am currently playing travel ball with the 17U East Cobb Patriots.
I also challenge myself in the classroom. I am currently enrolled in the Honors/AP program. I am developing my leadership skills by being involved in the JROTC program. I was selected to be Battalion Commander for the 2017-2018 school year. Battalion Commander is the highest ranking student position at Alexander High School. I have a cumulative 3.75 GPA.
I hope to play college baseball after high school.
