Personal Statement
My love for baseball began years before I started playing the game. When I was four, my father took me to my first baseball game at Turner Field. Even as a little child, the game fascinated me. I knew that I wanted to play on that very day.
A D1, D2, or D3 baseball school that offers engineering is ideal for me. However, these majors can take up time after classes, so I am looking for a college where I can complete the labs necessary for these majors and also practice baseball.
I am a good candidate for a team because I bring a vast knowledge of the game to the field. I study baseball daily whether it's on TV, online, or at the ballpark. Also, I am very coachable and openly heed the advice of my coaches.
Although baseball is a huge part of my life, my parents taught me that academics are more important. I manage my time so that I can maintain a high GPA and get better at baseball too. I have a very hardworking attitude; I will stop at nothing to accomplish my dreams. I hope to play ball in high competition and receive a good education.
