Personal Statement

What I believe sets me apart from other candidates are not just my physical attributes but specifically my leadership skills as well. I can be that one guy that everyone can count on because I know what it takes to a leader. It's not physical capabilities that set athletes apart but it's how strong minded an athlete is. You can be the strongest and fastest but it won't matter if you can't focus. That's why I bring those two together I am both physically and mentally strong. I lead by example and I know that everyone has the same goal in mind and that is to win. That's why I apply those laws on and off the baseball field. I am not only strong minded on the field, I am also strong minded in the classroom and in life in general. When I commit to something I want to be number 1 and I will work as hard as I need, to get there.

No matter how much sports means to me I have been groomed to always put school first and athletics second. That is why I try my hardest to get my school work done as timely mannered possible, so I have more time to concentrate on what I love to do which is play baseball. That mental drive to be the best comes from my determination to learn as much as possible. I try my hardest to be a student on the field because the more information that I absorb the better player I will become. Knowledge can give the team an edge on the field. The characteristics that I carry are what I hope will get me to college one day and be able to care for my family and give back to my community.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
