Personal Statement
Growing up in Hawai'i, I know how hard it is to get exposure so I take advantage of every opportunity I get to showcase my skills.
No one in my family has gone to college out of state, so I'd like to be one of the first to successfully do so. In addition I'd like to excel athletically and academically at whatever school I attend and act as an example for other Hawai'i residents that going to college isn't something to be scared of.
My ability to learn really fast and be disciplined is what makes me a good fit for any college program out there. I will dedicate my full effort into my academics and athletics to ensure that I develop not only as a baseball player, but as a person overall. As stated before, coming from Hawai'i I know how hard it is to get exposure and opportunities for college; This is just another reason why I will make the most of every opportunity I get.
In college, I would like to get my degree and develop as a baseball player so that I can get to the next level and fulfill the best of my potential. My drive to be successful is what will help me be an excellent student-athlete.
