Blake Hiraki 2019...Personal Statement
Baseball has always been the game that I planned to excel in and play as long as possible. I understand that playing at the collegiate level is a very serious business and that it's not something everyone has an opportunity to do. I am a team player and I lead by example on and off the field. I am a very coachable athlete and my work ethic strives only to be the best.
I also make sure to keep up with my school work since striving for excellence in the classroom is just as important as striving for excellence on the field. I study extremely hard and maintain a GPA between 3.7-3.9. I try to be a well rounded individual not only on the field but in the classroom as well.
Ultimately, I hope to find the right college where I can play at the highest level of competition and excel as a student athlete and community member.
