Paul "Petey" Frey '18 Recruiting Profile

I want to attend college and play baseball.  I work really hard in school and strive to get the best grades possible to help me get into a good college.  I am not afraid to put in extra time and effort to achieve the outcome I expect.  I work hard in everything I do especially school and baseball.  I spend my time outside of school working out and training to improve my physical body so I am prepared physically for the game.  I want to play in the Major Leagues one day and hopefully with hard work I will get to achieve this dream.  

What makes me a good candidate for your team is that I do not give up.  I am not afraid to put forth 110% effort at all times.  I am focused on what is important and I know that in order for me to be successful I have to always work hard.       I am focused and I have a winning spirit.  I always expect the best performance from myself in baseball, school, and anything I do.  I know I am not perfect but I try really hard.  Everyone says I have the most heart they have ever seen but I think that is because I love baseball, I love the game.  

What makes me different from other recruits is my overwhelming desire to succeed.  I have overcame many challenges in my life so far and instead of giving up I have always worked harder.  I am respectful and humble.  I do not think I am better than anyone else but I am willing to work so I can be better for myself.  If I struggle in school I am not afraid to ask for help and spend extra time learning what I do not understand.  If I am faced with a challenge I do not give up I make every effort to face the challenge so I can succeed.
