Personal Statement

My name is Logan Scott.  I am 17 years old and will be graduating in May 2015 from Kaiser High School in Honolulu, Hawaii.  I am a RHP/OF, and have been on varsity since my sophomore year.  Baseball has been a huge part of my life since I was four years old, and my goal has always been to play college ball and beyond.  I am and always have been an extremely competitive player and never give anything but my 100% effort.  My commitment to the sport includes attending pitching camps (including Ron Wolforth's pitching camp at the Texas Baseball Ranch), taking outside pitching and batting lessons, and supervised weight training at Sports Medicine Hawaii on a regular basis.  Beyond that, I make sure to concentrate on my overall physical fitness, and to always look at ways to sharpen my playing skills.  I am a hard worker on and off the field, and care about my team and the success of the other players.

What makes me stand out above all else, is that I pride myself in being an honest, level-headed, well-grounded and balanced person.  My education and my faith are extremely important to me so that I may become a successful person and provide for my family in the future.
