Personal Statement
My main goal is to attend a strong academic college where I can also continue my baseball career there. I would describe myself as a scrappy player because even though I am not the biggest in size, I am very aggressive, will never give up and I always work hard. Something that makes me different compared to other recruits is how much of a hard worker I am. I am always trying to find a way to better myself and my team. I always have a positive attitude towards the game and my fellow teammates. Growing up I was taught to respect the game and play the game fairly. I am a reliable player that coaches can count on to consistently make the routine plays. I have an aggressive approach at the plate, yet can read the pitches well to identify balls and strikes. I have a basic stance at the plate and a line drive/base hit mindset. I have a strong mental game about baseball and know how to read pitches or adjust to hitters in certain situations. In school I like to challenge myself and take AP and honor classes. I am a strong student that excels mostly in math. I currently have a 3.7 GPA at Punahou School in Honolulu, Hawaii. I manage my time very well and never fall behind or procrastinate in school. Baseball has always been my passion and a big part of my life.
