- Shortstop Zach Daniels (2015, Robins, Iowa) came in to throw the final two innings and was very impressive in picking up the save, pounding the strike zone with 87-90 mph fastballs from a deceptive mid three-quarters arm slot.

Deceptive delivery, low 3/4's arm slot with a big cross fire release point, arm is fast and loose. Mid-80's fastball, topped out at 87 mph, good running action, velocity is up 5 mph since the spring. Has a feel for a straight change up. Tends to slow arm and drop elbow on a flat soft slider, can improve this pitch. 6.65 runner, has two way potential as a middle infielder. Shows his arm strength at shortstop although throws tail, has good actions and is quick to the ball with soft hands. Left handed hitter, contact approach with good control of the barrel and occasional gap power, aggressive on the bases and uses his speed well. Good student.
