Felix King '17 Recruiting Profile

    My name is Felix King from Nampa Christian High School in Nampa Idaho. My goal is to play competitive baseball at the collegiate level I am very task oriented and go the extra mile to make sure I am performing at my highest potential. My dedication also runs off of the diamond and into the classroom. I pride myself in being coachable and have good relationships with my teachers and coaches.

    I am a two sport athlete. My high school football career has been very rewarding. My sophomore year I started at outside linebacker. My junior year I started at middle linebacker and slot receiver. I was an honorary mention all state receiver and a second team all state middle linebacker. My junior year I had the most tackles in our conference. Although I have enjoyed football, baseball has always been my passion and I desire to be the best player I can. Over the years my level of play has been increasing as I put in the extra hours of solo tee work and ground balls with my father. I have come a long way from the toddler videos of learning to throw with my dad. I enjoy seeing tough competition. In my freshman year we went undefeated. The season of my sophomore year we placed second in conference and won the state title. I was the offensive MVP for the varsity team and led the team in RBI's.  

    I love sports and what you can get from them but my top priority is in my grades. I enjoy subjects such as english, history, and science. Over the last several years I have logged over 200 hours of community service. I am a servant leader and desire what is best for the team.
