Personal Statement
For me, every time I step on the mound is an opportunity to help my team win the game. There is no better feeling in the world than to grab a brand new baseball and throw that first pitch of the game. As a pitcher, I leave everything on the field to give my team the best chance to win the game. At every next level of baseball that I compete in, I put in more and more work so that I can give myself the best opportunity. I am not one that is afraid to put the work in. Once the season ends, the off season begins. Five or six days a week, I put all my effort into a strong combination of both strength and speed training. Even with all of my constant training, the one thing that sets me apart from other athletes is my academics. My school work is always my number one priority and will make other sacrifices to make sure I am succeeding.
