I am good candidate for a collegiate team because I have played at the highest level of competition for baseball here in Illinois and I know the work it takes to succeed. I have put in the training and now I am ready to take my game to the next level. I want to attend a school that can use my talents on the baseball field while helping me grow as a student and a athlete.

- The Chicago Public League Championship tournament culminated with the Final Four teams playing at Wrigley Field for a chance to play for the city title the next day. The Kenwood Academy team lost a tough 7-6 battle but Joe was the starting catcher and had a great tournament. He directed his pitching staff to one game from the championship as the number 7 seed.

- THE RBI WORLD SERIES IS SPONSORED BY MLB AND WAS HELD IN MINNEAPOLIS AGAIN THIS YEAR. JOE AND HIS CHICAGO CUBS TEAMMATES ADVANCED TO THE PLAYOFFS OF THE JUNIOR DIVISION AS THE #1 SEED BUT THEY UNFORTUNATELY LOST IN THE FIRST ROUND OF THE PLAYOFFS.

- REGIONAL TOURNAMENT FOR THE MIDWEST WITH THE WINNER ADVANCING TO THE WORLD SERIES IN MINNESOTA. JOE LED HIS UNDEFEATED TEAM TO THE CHAMPIONSHIP WITH A TWO RUN WALK OFF DOUBLE THAT DEFEATED THE CHICAGO WHITE SOX ELITE BASEBALL TEAM.
