Ethan Jones '16 Recruiting Profile

Over the course of the past four years I have excelled at the ability to balance three varsity sports at a high level. I am able to multi-task and be driven to focus on a specific skill set for each sports. As a proven leader I have led the high school water polo to the district championships, regional runner ups and most recently to the state finals. Coaches have regularly commented  that I coachable and a team player that is able to move easily to any needed position.  I am able to understand the needs of a team come before the individual and will make every effort move the ball in the clearest shot available. Technically, I understand the game and can read the offensive and defensive plays as they are in motion in the pool.  Physically I am strong both as a sprinter and defender. I counter balance by off season as part of a swim and lacrosse team that provides a different aspect of team work.

Outside of the pool I have a personal ambitions in the field of architecture and engineering aspect of design. My future goals are to secure a position on a water polo  team that allows me to balance my academic dream of becoming an architect in urban design and planning.
