Personal Statement
Ever since i was a little kid calling balls and strikes before the umpire, i knew baseball was something i wanted to pursue as far as possible. I understand the ideas of a student athlete. The idea that school comes first and baseball would and always a close second. If given the opportunity to play baseball in college I aspire to be the best at my position. I want to be better than those who came before as well as those who come after. Competition and pressure drives me and in the moment i raise my level of play to rise to the occasion.
Coaches have always told me i am very coachable. When i am told something i do not take it personal, no, i take it as something that can make me better. I have the mentality that the people over me have been doing this a lot longer than i have been playing and they know what is best. I listen say yes coach and begin the learning process. I come early and leave late extra work when i can get it no question i itch to raise the level of play to become the best. I come to practice and games the same way someone wants my spot and i have to fight for it. Being shorter than most i look at this game a little differently. I see it that i have to make up with height in work ethic and time . and that is what i intent to do with the program that i end up playing for.
