Playing baseball throughout my high school career while obtaining excellent grades has prepared me for college. I go to an extremely competitive high school and plan to create a situation where my performance in the classroom and on the field allows me to obtain a college scholarship. My immediate goal has come to fruition, I will be reporting to the United States Air Force Academy on June 29th to play for the Falcons in the D1 Mountain West conference. My four year goal is to play in the College World Series, a visit back to Nebraska would be fantastic! Major league ball would be the ultimate culmination of this journey, however I know this is a career choice of many young ballplayers and may not be absolutely realistic. I've now set my sights on being an outstanding pilot in the US Air Force. I will be obtaining a post-graduate degree as I will graduate in four years as an officer, specifically -2nd Lieutenant. I remain open, optimistic and flexible as I believe my hard work and dedication to the sport has paid off and will continue to do so in the future. #AimHigh #GoFalcons
