Brett Shimanovsky '13 Recruiting Profile

My name is Brett Shimanovsky and I am entering my junior year at Highland Park High School in Highland Park Illinois. I started playing baseball at four years old, and ever since I have loved to play the game. One of my goals is to continue playing baseball in college when my high school career is over. I work extremely hard at my studies and am an honor student. While school work is my priority, I work just as hard at becoming the best baseball player I can be. I am fortunate  to have an opportunity to play on our high school Varsity team as a Sophomore and have been given an opportunity to be a starting pitcher. I ended the regular season at 5-1 with 2 saves, in 38 innings pitched , 52 strikeouts and a 3.38 ERA. and was selected to All Conference. I will also be playing with the Top Tier 17 U team this summer. I  would love an opportunity to be a student athlete in college and will work very hard to acheive that goal.
