My future goals include receiving a solid college education with a degree in business with the hopes of eventually working for our family business in the manufacturing of perlite. My future plan includes playing NCAA Baseball while earning that education.
I would make a good candidate at the collegiate level because I consider myself to be a hard-nosed ball player and I am both enthusiastic and energetic on and off the field. I am a loyal team player first and foremost. I am coachable and get along well with others. I am physically fit, injury free and willing to give 110% - 24/7!
Academically, I am hard-working, dedicated and eager. My rote memory is excellent and I enjoy learning in general. I struggled my freshman and sophomore years in high school. However, I feel that I have matured since and I believe that the 4.1 GPA I received my junior year reflects that. I only expect further improvement for my senior year.
What sets me apart from others are the contributions I can bring to the team as a whole. I can play MIF, (both 2nd Base and Short) I can Pitch and I can handle myself at the plate. I will be the player who brings out the best in his teammates. I will be the player who works to earn his position and can handle criticism and I am always looking to improve. I have a great respect for the game of baseball and for those who are as dedicated as I am.
Thank you - Spencer Garnett
