Personal Statement

Hi, my name is Trenton Barnett. I am a 16 yr. old student, attending Hinsdale Central HS in Illinois. I have played five seasons of club baseball, attending tournaments throughout the Midwest and the southeastern portion of the United States. I am currently playing club baseball with Team Acceleration in Chicago. My primary position is center field. My practice schedule is rigorous with hitting and conditioning exercises. My personal goal is to play at the highest level my skills will allow and I am looking for a university that will help me reach my potential. I desire to help the team succeed in any way that I can, while excelling academically. As a student at the university, I intend to focus my studies on Computer Science or Criminal Justice. When it comes to my training, I strive to be the best I can possibly be. I am a very hard working and devoted player, always giving my best at practice and at game time, so I commit myself to continuous improvement.
