Personal Statement
My name is Matt Putman, I am 5'11'' and weigh 175 pounds. I desire to play baseball at the collegiate level. I will graduate from Lakes Community High School in 2015. I have been a starter on all levels of my high school team for my first three years at Lakes. I have a great amount of experience in middle infield as well as third base. I am a very hard worker, I always give my best effort and I am always looking to improve whether it's on the field or in the classroom. I have always had a love for the game of baseball and I will always be a student of the game. I use every at bat, play, and game as an opportunity to learn and improve myself. I am active in the weight room, improving my strength and speed. I am a leader on the teams that I play on because I lead by example. In the classrooms I challenge myself by taking multiple honors and AP classes. My GPA is 3.84 through my first three years of high school. I strive to be the very best I can be day in and day out.
