Robert "Bobby" Thorson '11 Recruiting Profile

My name is Bobby Thorson. I am 6' 205lbs. I am a RHP and third baseman. I work extremely hard because I strive to be the best on every team I am a part of. As a senior I made 1st  Team - All-Conference, 1st Team All Area, and 1st-Team All-State.  Our team won our schools first ever, Regional, Sectional, Super-Sectional and State Championships.   I was voted Baseball Player of the Year by two local papers.  I was voted  Offensive MVP Player by my team.  I'm not much of a talker, and I prefer  to lead by example.  I handle pressure situations well. 
As a junior, our school won its first ever Conference Championship.  I was made All-Conference as well as 1st Team All-Area. I was also selected to represent the Great Lakes Region at the National Team Identification Series in Cary, North Carolina. My varsity teammates voted for me to receive the Mr. Kaneland Award, which goes to the player who best well represents Kaneland Baseball.
I am open to all types of schools who are looking for a competitive player who loves to win.
