Trenton McNally '16 Recruiting Profile

     Hi my name is Trenton McNally. I play for Rolling Meadows High School in Illinois. I am a 6ft. 165lbs. Senior. I am primarily a shortstop, but also play second base as well as pitch. I have great range at both positions with a strong arm. I will also be a starting pitcher this year with a fastball currently in the low 80's and a great change-up and curve ball. I also catch on my Summer travel team the Illinois Patriots. This was a new position to me last Fall and I am enjoying learning the position and honing my skills there. I just finished playing in some extreme heat conditions as catcher for that team in the CABA 18U Wood Bat Tournament in South Carolina. I am very passionate about the game of baseball, and I have been playing since I was 5 yrs old. I am always conditioning in the off season and I work at getting better everyday.
     I am very coachable, which allows me to have great relationships with all of my coaches and have always been a great asset on every team that I have played on. I take academics very seriously and am competitive on and off the field.  I am looking forward to going to college to play baseball, along with studying Criminal Justice to be a police officer.
