Personal Statement

There is no greater feeling then being on the mound, staring down the batter and knowing that you can impact the game by throwing a single pitch. I am excited to advance to the next level of baseball.  When I play for a college team, my focus will be to play as hard as I can every opportunity that I am offered.  Ultimately, I want to help the team I play for win as many games as possible, whether that's with my overall performance, pushing guys in practice, or encouraging my teammates throughout the course of a game.

I also know that it is just as important to set goals in the classroom, because there is a life waiting for you after baseball. I have known that just to even play baseball in college you have to have good grades which is why I push myself in the classroom so I can play the game that I love at a high level. I will continue to give as much focus to my academics in college as I have to date in order to succeed.  Much like in life, baseball has a ton of ups and downs, I know it won't always be easy but I'm in it for the long run, I'll stick with the process and grind through the tough parts to not only be a successful player, but also a better person.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
