Keaton Lauro '17 Recruiting Profile

Ever since I started playing baseball at the age of 4, I had a dreamed of becoming pro player. I believe I have a unique skill set to offer a college program. I am intensely dedicated, prepared, competitive, and I am extremely fast and versatile. I start varsity at SS or CF, but because of my versatility my coaches have played me at every position with the exception of first base. One thing I have discovered about myself is that I crave a competitive environment and this brings out even more of my abilities. During a game I battle for every hit, every extra base, every run, and certainly every win. I believe I am a strong leader and try to put my team before myself, and I enjoy working as a team towards a common goal - Winning.  As I have matured I have begun to understand how to also put disappointments, like a loss, into a learning opportunity to get better at the game. I do the same thing with my academics. My coaches will confirm that I put my heart and soul out on the field for them as well as my teammates. I believe I can make a real difference to a baseball program.
