I'm Dalton O'Connor ever since i have been able to put a bat in my hand, I knew that baseball was going to be a huge part of my life because right off the bat i was in love. At this point in my life I am a Junior in high school and i have really decided that I want Baseball to be my life and being able to get a good education at a great school. I have a great work ethic I am continually working on my mechanics for hitting and all the other aspects of baseball even the mental game. I would be a good addition to your team because I have the competitive drive and mind set of a winner, I am a leader on the baseball field and I am not one to fall into others peer pressure. I am a laid back person and i love to meet and make new friends. When i am on the baseball field I mean business, i'm not there just for the fun because to me baseball is a job, it is my job to compete at the highest of my abilities and at the end of the day if i'm not dirty, tired and sore i know i didn't do my job that day. I understand everyone has their bad days and their good days but no matter what i am always trying to make things happen. I am a Jr. Legion State Champion, I played as our starting catcher and hit 15 homeruns that season. I am also a Conference Champion in the SIRR Conference and i made All-Conference along with 5 others off my team.
My goals in College is to get the job done in the classroom first off because i know if i dont get it done in the classroom it could not only ruin my college baseball career, all the money spent would be for a waste and that is not what i want because I know that isn't what I have worked my whole life for. My other goal is to make a lot of new friends and to be able to be a great help for my team, when my name is called to be able to light the field up with my hard work and talent, but not only for my baseball abilities but for my ability to be able to help my players get out of bad state of minds and getting them back up and strong headed again.
This is my life, I want baseball to be my life, and for all of you who are going to see this I want you to know, I have what it takes to be able to play at the next level and I know i would be a good addition to you're team.
