It is my goal to be the starting second baseman for a competitive baseball program at a university that will prepare me for life after baseball. There are two main reasons that make me a good candidate. First, I am a very good student who understands the responsibilities and time commitment required to succeed as a student-athlete. Second, I learned at a young age how important it is to be a good teammate and a leader if you want the team to meet its goals. As a student of the game and a middle infielder, I take great pride in my defense. As a lead-off hitter with some speed, I understand how important it is to get on base early and often to put pressure on the opposing defense. I look forward to putting in the work to meet my goals.
