Dylan Neuner '18 Recruiting Profile

Growing up the youngest of four brothers and having a father for a coach it was inevitable that I would fall in love with baseball. From a very early age I was a student of the game. I grew up in the dugout learning from my older brothers and my dad’s players before I even hit the age of eligibility to play the game. I have continued to evolve as an individual and as a team player since I started playing at five years old.

My passion for the game and my goal to work in journalism/sports broadcasting has fueled my motivation to put the work into playing the game at the next level. I am looking forward to majoring in mass communications and an opportunity to learn both on and off the field.

I started my senior year in a good spot with a competitive edge. I completed a successful summer season where I made the Senior Legion All Star team and just recently tried out and made a college prep team. My goal this year is to continue developing on and off the field. I need to gain both the physical and mental stamina required for a college athlete. I’m also putting extra focus on my grades which I am learning is an important element in being considered for college scholarships. I am also participating in volunteer activities with my club team, extra-curricular high school activities, and meeting with personal trainers for private hitting and pitching lessons weekly.
