Personal Statement
I am the starting second baseman on my High School Varsity Team, Grayslake Central in Lake County IL. This past season, Spring 2018, our team finished with an over-all record of 28-7. This included the Conference Title and the Regional Championship Title.
This summer I am playing Legion Ball and am on a travel team, Slammers of Illinois. My main position is second base on these teams but I also play some Short and Third.
My strengths are my range and glove on defense, my base running and my ability to hit for average including a keen ability to lay down a timely bunt to move runners and/or for a base hit. At the training facility I frequently receive compliments on my "quick hands".
I love playing baseball, have a high level work ethic and make a great teammate. My goal is to continue to play baseball at the next level while working towards a degree so that I can get into sports broadcasting or sports management.
