Personal Statement

Baseball is my biggest passion in life.  My life revolves around every level of the game, from my own playing to following every game in the Big Leagues.  The more I play and study the game,  the more respect I gain for the game of baseball.  An opportunity to prolong my playing days by competing at the next level would be surreal to me.

I believe that my positive, encouraging attitude and character both on and off the field makes me a good fit for a program that emphasizes the importance of the team as a whole, not just individual players.  The type of energy I bring to every one of my games-- whether I'm playing or not-- positively affects my teammates' morale and overall performance.

My athletic performance is very important to me,  which is why I strive each day to work harder than I worked the day before.  I am continuing to develop as a player and as a person,  and I would be very grateful to be given the opportunity to attend a college and a baseball program that promotes both my athletic and personal growth.

NOTE: My parents and I have official In-State Residency in: California and Illinois as well as Michigan.
