Personal Statement
I want you to know that I am a quiet-natured kid that works his heart out for the game of baseball. Everyday I either practice batting, catching, have a game, or am weight lifting. I am a starter on my varsity high school team, play on an elite travel team, and play on an elite Fall ball team. In the winter, I work even harder on skills at the Bo Jackson Dome with the Cangelosi organization. I put the gear on everyday because I want to get better and play in college and beyond. In the dugout, I am concentrating on the game. I do not start chants or lead the cheering - it is just not who I am. That does not mean I do not have intensity for the game. When I make an error on the field, I try to make up for it at the plate. Every pitch at every at bat, I am focused on crushing the ball and help my team. I show my intensity in a different way, but no one is more competitive than me. On a baseball team I am a player that has quiet confidence and I have been taught to respect my coaches and try my best to implement their corrections.
At home, I am the youngest of three boys. I have been described as a very tough kid with a humble nature. My best baseball moment is having former MLB catcher, now coach, Sal Fasano, say I was "as strong as an ox."
