Personal Statement

I play baseball for Prospect High School ("PHS") and several off-season travel teams including Summer, 2017 with the Illinois Patriots Elite. I am a RHP and RHB and play primarily left field , catcher, short stop and pitch.  I have played every position at one time or another over my high school career. Until recently, I was a relatively smaller player, but over the last several months I have put on 5 inches and 30 lbs.; currently, I am 6’ 2” and approximately 170Ibs. This added size dynamic has complimented my consistently high BA and OBP with power stats. During 2017 summer ball, although I fashion myself as a changes of speeds pitcher my average fastball was clocked at 77 mph but topped out at 83 mph, I run a 6.91/60-yard dash.  I hit 3 HRs, 3 triples in summer ball and my OBP/SLG averaged was at least .475 in each category with a .405 BA.  In the 2018 high school season, I lead the team in OBP/BA above .520 and .430 respectively; 3HRs. over 50% of my hits being extra base.  All Conference and All Area. I will be playing summer baseball for American Legion, Post 525, Bulldogs Baseball a frequent State championship team.

Finally, I truly love the game of baseball. I am very responsible and am an extremely hard worker. I understand that becoming a high caliber player means being a high caliber student first.  I listen very well and am always respectful.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
