Personal Statement
As a student athlete my goals and aspirations are to maintain a healthy balance of my academics along with my athletics. I believe I am a good candidate because I am a very hard working person, participating in numerous extracurricular activities and organizations, while playing two sports and maintaining a 3.9 GPA. I believe what sets me apart from others is my organizational skills and hard working abilities. In order to maintain my academic and athletic success, I have to balance my time carefully. For example, three days of the week I am meeting with my baseball instructors in the evening to help strengthen my skill set. Between school and practice, I am spending time preparing for exams and other school work that needs to be completed. My ability to balance my academic success while improving my baseball skills has helped me remain in the top percentage of my class in academics, and be a leader on the field.
