Luke Trondson '18 Recruiting Profile

My passion is to play and compete at a College Level in the sport of Baseball. I also strive to obtain the best education a University allows me.  In my baseball career, I have won 3 State Titles, 2 National Titles, and an International Title, all with the Quad City Hitmen. The coaching I obtained at a young level introduced me to baseball, and focused on the fundamentals. As I grew, I took the knowledge of the fundamentals and developed them into skills. I am constantly working on my skills, growing them to make me a better individual player, and ultimately a better team player. 

I am an athlete who has been fortunate to play Football, Basketball, and Baseball during my high school years. It offers me the ability to compete and stay conditioned throughout the school year. During the summer, I was a part of the Quad City Hitmen 16U Showcase team, in 2017 the 29'ers Showcase Team

To me, the skills I obtain in the classroom are just as important. I look at being in the classroom just like being on the field, by doing everything I can to get a better understanding of that topic.  Being a leader in the classroom, around the school, on the field, and in the community are all big parts of becoming a better athlete and person for the rest of life.
