Ever since I was born I have been competitive. There wasn't a baseball, football, soccer, or dodge ball game in gym class that I didn't want to win. That is a trait I have kept throughout my career as a baseball player. I always want to win no matter what it takes. I'd like to keep that desire going when I go to college and play baseball.

- Participated in fall long-toss program to build pitching velocity. Also have worked over the past five months on leg squats and other pitching-specific strengthening exercises to increase velocity and flexibility. Over next two high school seasons (2016, 2017), hope to increase pitching velocity into 80s while maintaining excellent control of off-speed pitches.
