Personal Statement
My name is Aaron McGee, and I'm a 2015 student-athlete at Hamilton Southeastern High School (HSE) in Fishers, IN. HSE is a 4A baseball school (highest classification) with over 3,000 students. I'm the starting first basemen and have received all-conference honors in the competitive Hoosier Crossroads Conference. As a junior in 2014, our team made it to the sectional finals (losing to the eventual 4A state champions). I batted mostly 3rd in our lineup and led our team in plate appearances, batting average, and OBP.
My goal after completing my high school career is to play competitive collegiate baseball and pursue a degree in agriculture or ag business.
As a baseball player, some of my best offensive skills are fast hands, hitting to all fields, and generating bat speed and exit velocity. I love to help my teammates by making a great play at first base, and I have good skills around the bag. I work hard to help my team by being very competitive and trying to lead by example.
