Lukus Rickelman '18 Recruiting Profile

My highest point in baseball was my travel team fighting our way back from being in the losers bracket at 0-2. Against all odds we won 6 games in one day and came in 3rd in the whole tournament. This helped me grow as a player because I learned that a team together can accomplish a whole lot if they are determined enough.

Aside from baseball I also maintain a 3.8-3.9 unweighted GPA (4.033 weighted). I have done this my whole high school career.  My grades are important to me but I also put in work in other places as well. This includes the baseball field, the gym, and the community. I have helped my church youth group with projects such as cleaning up the local park, working to serve drinks to the attendees at church, and more. I plan on studying something along the lines of the medical field in college but nothing is set in stone just yet. I'm looking for a good program that I can get a fair amount of playing time in but also have a great experience while there.
