June 2014Personal Statement
My name is George Stults and I am a 6'4, 195lb senior from Plymouth High School in Indiana. Baseball has always been a passion of mine. I knew from the beginning that I would want to continue my playing career after high school was over. I bring a positive mentality everyday. Everyday I show up with the intention of getting better on the field and in the classroom. I hold a 4.09 GPA which puts me at 15th in my class of 270. I can't always guarantee that I will be the best athlete on the field, but I can always guarantee that I will give 100% each and every day. I am a versatile player. I am a RHP, but I also play 1st, 3rd, outfield, and DH. My coaches are willing to try me at multiple positions because they trust that I will be a quick learner. I had shoulder surgery on June 4, 2015. My recovery is going excellent and I should be back to throwing hard soon. This surgery was a huge setback, but I have just turned it into an opportunity to get stronger and come back better than I was before.

- Pitched and played outfield. Hit extremely well for being one of the youngest guys there. Phil Wade who ran the camp, asked me to stay for a second after the camp ended, and told me that I need to stick with pitching because I can have a career ahead of me on the mound.
