Personal Statement

Hello,

I am a 5’8”,  160 lb.  I started on varsity as a center fielder and also at 3rd base my Junior year season.  For my senior year I will be the starting shortstop. I throws and bat right handed.  I am currently a Senior at Danville Community High School (class of 2023) located in Danville, IN.  I have been playing baseball since I was 5 years old and on a competitive level since I was eight years old.  For the summer of 2021 I playing travel baseball for the Indiana Braves and voted MVP for the season.  My current travel team for the summer of 2022 is the Midwest Astros out of Avon, IN.  I am very excited for the opportunity to take my game to the next level and play against some of the nation's top level talent.  I love the game of baseball and my biggest strong point is my work ethic and being a true leader on and off the field.  My main position is center-field, but I can and will play anywhere in the best interest of the team.  I just love being on the field competing and being a part of a team.  I am looking for a university where I can find the right balance between the classroom and the diamond.  I also would like to land at a college that focuses on the success of the students and has a respectable graduation rate as well as high percentage of future employment.  Ideally, I would like to be at a program where I could contribute to the team in any aspect and have an early impact on the field as well.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
