Personal Statement

Currently, I am a sophomore at John A. Logan College , a D1 junior college, in Carterville, Illinois.

My goal is to play baseball at the highest level I am able to achieve. I would love to play for a competitive program that’s coaching staff is passionate about the game of baseball, who cares deeply about helping the players they recruit reach their personal goals, all while building a competitive team. I am hoping to attend a college that is as competitive in academics as it is baseball.

I take pride in being the best athlete I can be. I am a hard worker who strives to be the best on the field and in the classroom.

Scrimmage game with a Big 12 umpire behind the plate. Pitched two innings, faced 12 batters, struck out 8 of 12, sat 84-85 mph in first inning, and 83-86 mph the second inning. Curveball 74-76 mph. Played the outfield also in the game, recorded a 89 mph velo off the tee. In the game had four plate appearances going 2-3 with two doubles (one hopped the fence), 5 rbi in the game. Great time working with the whole staff.

Campers will be put in their primary positions and work with our staff. 1pm-4:30pm Showcase: Campers will go through a “pro-style” workout including, 60 yard dash, fielding/throwing from position, bullpens and batting practice. INFORMATION: The camp portion of this event will provide the athletes with a great opportunity to improve their game and learn about what coaches are looking for at the next level. The showcase portion of this event will provide the athletes with an opportunity to gain exposure and experience in regards to the recruiting process. Athletes will showcase their skill in front of the camp’s staff as well as many scouts and recruiters in attendance for the event. The showcase will include an evaluation that will be directly sent to each individual camper.
