Nathan Goodsell '18 Recruiting Profile

My name is Nathan Goodsell, I am 6' and weigh 185 pounds. I have been playing baseball my whole life and never want to stop. I am very focused and put 100% effort into anything baseball related. I am very reliable and have good listening skills.  I have moved to a new area many times, but that has not slowed down my hard work. I also believe moving to new schools and teams has put me in tough situations that I have to work out of.  My playing experience includes competitive travel baseball beginning at the age of 10 -12 in Arizona, age 13 -16 in Detroit, and currently in Indianapolis. These situations have turned me into a talkative player, and also being a leader on a team. My most recent move to Indiana during my junior year of high school has turned out to be the best for me. I feel like this is the hardest I have worked my whole career, with weights class during school, and baseball workouts after school with my high school team ever since the beginning of September. I have also joined a velocity increase program that is very intense and uses plyocare and driveline weighted balls. My ultimate goal is to play at a competitive school for baseball while challenging me academically. My dream would be to play competitively in college and to use those experiences in a future career.
