Ever since I was little I have been watching MLB players on tv and in person. I want to be included in that select club. I started playing baseball at age 5 and have played travel baseball since age 9. I began my travel baseball career with the Indiana Irish and a year later moved to help start up a new program which became the Indiana Mafia. We have had very good results with our Mafia team over the years with our biggest win coming at Myrtle Beach, Surf's Up tournament hosted by the Ripken Experience. Currently, I play for Monrovia High School, Monrovia, IN. I have played varsity baseball every year as a starter. This season, 2017, I will be starting at third and will be in the starting pitching rotation. I strive to be the type of player who is not only good with the skill-set needed to be great at any infield position, but also smart about the game, and someone kids can look up to.
My last 2 seasons at the plate:
Monrovia (Fr & So): 55 GP - .360 avg - 62 H - 19 2B - 3 HR - 36 RBI
2015 & 2016 Mafia: 57 GP - .435 avg - 73 H - 12 2B - 6 3B - 1 HR - 66 RBI
On the Mound in 2016:
Monrovia: ERA: 4.20 W/L: 3-0 APP: 7 GS: 3 CG: 1 IP: 21.2 H:19 R: 16 ER: 13 BB: 20 K: 30 OBA: .224
Mafia: 28 IP 5 GS 4-0 W/L 21 H 16 R 8 ER 18 BB 37 K 2.00 ERA
I push myself everyday in the weight room and on the field. I work hard to prove that I belong on the field with the best players in the country. This July 26th-Aug 1st I will be playing for the Baseball Factory team #1 at the Under Armour SW Championship in Los Angeles, CA. My goal is to improve everyday, step-by-step, and make my mark on the world. I'll give it my all on and off the field as well as in the class room. My goal after high school is to go to college to major in Kinesiology or Business, to play the game I love and to be the type of person my team and family can be proud of.
