For me, being a “baseball player” is part of my identity, it’s who I am. However, my identity is further defined by other commitments I maintain in my life. My commitment to my Faith and my family are really what shapes the core of who I am.

Speaking of family support, the greatest influence in my love for baseball has been my dad. His devoted years of teaching, coaching, and advising, have continually been the driving force behind my progress in the game. Playing baseball has taught me the importance of keeping a positive mental mindset and the effect it can have in my game, and in my personal life as well. I define myself as a humble, selfless, and dependable player, who takes pride in being the best teammate I can. A most recent defining moment for me in my baseball career came at the end of my JV season, as a sophomore at my Class 4A high school. I was moved up to varsity for sectionals, as a result of my high on base percentage and batting average.

In furthering my education, I am interested in an institution where I can find the right balance between the classroom and the baseball field. I hope to attend a university with a superior academic reputation in the field of Business. Ideally, my athletic involvement would be one where I can make an immediate impact on the team. I believe I not only have the talent to compete for a college team, but I also feel I demonstrate the character and work ethic that coaches desire to see in their student athletes
