Jake Huff '17 Recruiting Profile

My goal in college is two things; One: Be able to join the MLB Draft, Two: Good academic study for being a coach and have a good odds to be hired after college. I want to challenge myself in the classroom while challenging myself on the diamond. I'm a team first player, no matter what the teams play is my number one concern. I'm more of silent leader, but am working on being more of a vocal leader. There are also many areas in my game I'm still focusing on. Very passionate player, no one else loves this game more than me. Being working hard from day one, and at the end of the day I want to say no one else in the country worked harder than me. I believe everything gained is earned not handed to. No other recruit will want to be on that field more than me. Also I'm a very versatile left hander, can play any position a lefty is able to. I prefer to play first as I've played that my whole life, but whatever position I can play to help my team win is the one I would want to play. "Winning is a habit, unfortunately so is losing," I know what ever college I attend to, I will do everything in my power help the team win.
