Dalton Jorgensen '24 Recruiting Profile

I’ve had a dream to play college baseball since I was 4 years old.  It started with my father telling me stories from his college playing days.  The dream grew from there, and now it is a huge part of my life.

My best quality as a player is my versatility and work ethic.  During the course of the last season I played every position on the field with the exception of center field.  I’ll field any position as long as it helps the team and I have a chance to play.  I also make a habit of doing something baseball related everyday.  Whether it’s a cage session, a bullpen, time in the weight room, or reading about training methods to elevate my skills; I’ve become a student of the game.

I’m also a 2-sport athlete.  I am the quarterback at the varsity level for my high school.  I believe the cross training I receive through football is a valuable part of my development as a baseball player.

I’m looking to further my baseball career anywhere in the nation at a place where I can contribute and make an impact.
